WORKSHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Terms and Conditions

 

This workshop is designed to provide general psychoeducation, information, and practical strategies relating to parenting children with ADHD.

Topics discussed may include:

  • ADHD and executive functioning 
  • Emotional regulation and rejection sensitivity 
  • Behavioural and communication strategies 
  • School and home challenges 
  • Parent wellbeing and burnout 
  • Practical supports and resources 

This workshop is educational in nature and does not constitute psychological treatment, diagnosis, crisis support, or individual therapeutic advice.

Attendance at this workshop does not establish a therapeutic or client relationship with the presenters, Kiana Thomas or Tanja Turner.

Participants are responsible for determining whether the workshop content is appropriate for their individual circumstances and for seeking independent professional support where required.

Group Participation & Confidentiality

As aspects of the workshop may involve group discussion and shared lived experiences, participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other attendees.

While the presenters will take reasonable steps to foster a respectful and supportive environment, confidentiality within a group setting cannot be guaranteed.

Workshop content may include discussion of emotional regulation, family stress, behavioural challenges, school difficulties, neurodivergence, and related topics that some participants may find emotionally sensitive or emotionally activating.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with presenters and other attendees at all times.

The presenters reserve the right to refuse entry or ask participants to leave if behaviour is considered:

  • unsafe 
  • discriminatory 
  • aggressive 
  • inappropriate 
  • significantly disruptive to the group environment

Registration & Payment

Workshop registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Places may be limited and registrations will generally be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

By proceeding with payment or registration, participants acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

 If you simply change your mind or have a change of personal circumstances and the host is not at fault, you are generally not entitled to a refund. If workshop is cancelled by host, a full refund is provided.

Communication Consent

By registering for this workshop, participants consent to receiving workshop-related communication, including:

  • booking confirmations 
  • reminders 
  • resource emails 
  • follow-up information relevant to the workshop

By registering for or attending this workshop, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
